It's great to meet you.
As an Event Manager I have one goal in mind: to gather people. More than anything, I want to foster community, empathy, and understanding in the world. What does that better than a shared experience? The moment you are standing in the same room as someone, indulging in a shared passion, you open the door to understanding. It is my goal to execute events to the highest level in order for these moments to happen authentically, they need to happen in an environment so well planned, it inspires joy.
While community is my mission, production is my passion. I worked as a production/operations coordinator for countless events and over 10 festivals including SXSW, the Great River Shakespeare Festival, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, the Austin Film Festival, and ACL... Just to name a few. While I am known to be a valued asset onsite of any event, I really enjoy pre/post-event work as well. My accounting training in college was from the McCombs School of business, one of the top business programs in the US. I am not only well trained in creating financial analysis and budgets, I also really enjoy it. In college, I was also trained in basic knowledge and usage of live performance equipment, and I have exercised this knowledge in my professional career as well.
Production requires you to have a good instinct. I would say this is my best feature as a coordinator. My instinct has gotten my clients out of a pinch a gracious amount of times. Aside from problem solving, a good instinct can help a production manager navigate more delicate or high profile situations. I have worked on projects for clients like Comedy Central, Trevor Noah, Wet Leg, Open Mike Eagle, Megan thee Stallion, and even several government officials. I am calm and collected in most situations, and this ensures intelligent decision making in my field.

PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
I do work with Plaid Pony on contract basis with their production team. My last gig with Plaid Pony was on a Samsung commercial. My duties were to review actor contracts, run technical equipment to the shoot, and collect any necessary production items and secure them at the shooting.
PRODUCTION MANAGER
At SXSW I manage the team of Assistant Production Managers responsible for running SXSW Music at over 75 venues. I also coordinate site operation builds for over 15 venues. At SXSW I manage over 100 contracts for a million dollar departmental budget.

COMMERCIAL WORK
At JAK, I worked on a variety of projects from beauty commercials, company media, and educational content. With JAK, I reviewed English content, helped film commercials and educational content, and wrote scripts for the company.
PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
Hardly Strictly is the largest free music festival in America. I was hired onto the team by the Executive Director to act as a local liaison as they shot their 2020 festival "from home" in Austin. I secured vendors for various elements such as technical equipment, props, and costumes. I assisted with transferring these items, as well as with hospitality.

EVENT PRODUCER
Dolly Fest was the top event of the Austin Chronical in it's first year. I was an Executive Producer on the festivals launch year. I worked with the Festival creator to plan and execute the festival. I oversaw finances, talent booking, contract writing, and media for the festival.
OPERATIONS ASSISTANT
I acted as the assistant to the Head of Operations for the 2019 festival. We were in charge of creating, distributing, and hanging all signage of the festival. We planned and executed red carpet events, as well as director talk backs.
